What does Decant do?

Decant pulls the audio out of any video and saves it as an audio file — no timeline, no editing, no fuss. Drop in a video, get the sound out.

Where do my files go? Is anything uploaded?

Nothing is uploaded. Extraction happens entirely on your device. Your video never leaves your iPhone or iPad.

Which formats can I export?

M4A (small, great quality), plus WAV and AIFF for lossless audio. Your file keeps the video’s original name.

Is there a subscription?

No — and there never will be. Your first 3 extractions are free; after that a single one-time purchase (“Decant Unlimited”) unlocks unlimited extractions forever.

How do I extract audio from the Share Sheet?

In Photos or any app, tap Share, then choose Decant. It extracts the audio right there.

I bought Decant Unlimited on another device.

Open Decant, go to the unlock screen, and tap Restore Purchase. Your one-time purchase works across all your devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Which devices are supported?

Decant requires iOS 26 or later.
